Loui*BoilA Louisiana boil,
ten minutes from the bridge
A seafood boil is the Gulf Coast way of feeding a crowd: everything into one pot, everything onto one table, everyone eating with their hands. We do it the same way on the Hudson. Seafood comes in by the pound and goes out the same day.
The sauce is ours. Garlic, butter, Cajun spice and a few things we don't write down. You choose how hot it gets.
We don't sell alcohol, so bring what you like. Beer, wine, whatever goes with crab. We have sodas, juice and sparkling water for everyone else.
Four steps to a messy table
- 01Pick your catch
King crab, snow crab, Dungeness, crawfish, shrimp, mussels, clams, calamari, octopus, lobster. By the pound or half pound.
- 02Pick your heat
Garlic butter with no kick, medium, spicy, extra spicy, extra extra spicy. First time? Medium is a safe start.
- 03Add the sides
Corn, potato, sausage, garlic noodles, boiled egg. They go in the same bag and soak up the sauce.
- 04Bag hits the table
Bibs and gloves on. Open the bag, dig in with your hands. Napkins are on us.
